John Betjeman

John Betjeman 1906 -1984

Born in London and the most loved  Poet Laureate, Betjeman was very much in love with Cornwall.  He spent most of his childhood summers at Trebetherick and much of his poetry is based in Cornwall. He was buried at St Enodoc and left behind some of the most beautiful poems about Cornwall ever written.
